Our Metal Detectable Gel Pens are made from a thermoplastic co-polymer compound based on polypropylene that is suitable for injection molding. This compound has electromagnetic detectability, visibility under x-ray, and the ability to incorporate silver ion antimicrobial technology for specific applications. The inherent properties of polypropylene provide strength and resistance against various chemical solvents, acids, and bases.

With its high-performance mechanical properties and extensive approvals for food contact, this plastic is well-suited for use in food, pharmaceutical, and other hygiene-critical production environments.

Using metal detectable stationary, you demonstrate diligence in minimizing the risk of foreign body contamination. When used together with a properly calibrated x-ray inspection or metal detection/rejection system, these items actively contribute to maintaining product safety.
